Hey it's me a nomad by heart!

Welcome To My Blog :)

Here I am writing my very first official blog! My name is Amber, I am 25 years old and I am from the Netherlands. (This is literally the first sentence on every motivation letter haha). Anyways I have had the idea of starting a blog and sharing how I as a person that deeply feels experiences life. It might have been the fear of what people will think of me when I share what I feel and think that made me wait. Now I finally decided to do it.

What lights my heart on fire is working with wildlife in tropical places. I have felt a love for animals since I was a kid. I always watched this Dutch TV series called 'Veterinarian Tom'. When I got older I decided to not become a veterinarian but a veterinary nurse and so I am working since 2017. I like the practical part of being a veterinary nurse and I don't feel like talking much to owners as a veterinarian would do during consultations, I mean I wanted to work with animals in the first place. I feel drawn to follow my passion for travelling and helping to conserve wildlife since 2018. I honestly cannot stay longer than three months in the Netherlands. This is how I came up with the name 'A nomad by heart'. I will feel the urge of going to new places close to the ocean, to the forest and afcourse to wild animals. It is like what they say about getting a tattoo, 'once you get one, you want to get more'.

Travelling does not always feel amazing. It is a personal growth process with falling and rising. It can feel lonely and overwhelming at times. I want to share my experiences with you to hopefully make you feel less alone and to show that whatever it is that you feel during your journey is completely valid. Something I am grateful for to hear from my close friends, that have a travel lifestyle as well, when I am travelling and feeling lonely and doubting myself. I thank the internet for the ability to feel my loved ones close while being miles away from them and living my nomad life.

Anyways the weather is nice.. This is my famous quote when I start feeling awkward and want to change the topic or do not know what else to say. I should probably wrap this up before it gets too long and I lose your interest hihi.
